Istanbul Ataturk International Airport is the busiest airport in Turkey and is served by many major airlines, which travel to destinations all over the world. Millions of people fly into and out of the Domestic and International terminals every year and find the facilities and services at the airport exceptional.
The International Terminal at Ataturk is fairly new and features state-of-the-art facilities. The Domestic Terminal used to handle both domestic and international flights before the International Terminal opened. Now there is more space for both international and domestic passengers. Money facilities at both terminals include banks, currency exchange services, ATMs, shops and restaurants.

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets
Shoppers are well taken care of at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport, particularly in the International Terminal, where passengers will find an authentic bazaar and a well-stocked duty-free shop.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
There is also a good range of eateries at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport in the form of snack bars, cafés, fast-food outlets, bars, and 24-hour restaurants; most of which again can be found in the Departures area of the International Terminal.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
Bureaux de change are located in both terminals, along with banks and ATMs (cash machines), while post offices can also be found in both terminals. Public telephones are situated at convenient points in both terminals and many have been adapted for the use of those in wheelchairs.
Business and Conference Facilities
There are three conference halls in the International Terminal at Ataturk International Airport as well as conference facilities at the nearby Radisson SAS Conference and Airport Hotel. Business facilities in the airport conference halls include telephone, fax, photocopier and Internet access. In addition, there are CIP and business class lounges in the Departures area.
Disabled Facilities
Facilities for the disabled at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport are excellent, with elevators, wheelchairs and adapted toilets and telephones available. There is also a bridge taxi in International Departures which provides access to distant gates for the mobility impaired. Disabled parking is available outside the terminal; those who require assistance from their car should contact their airline beforehand.
